NAIFA Oregon is pleased to announce a new Scholarship Program designed to help YOU!

Offered to any insurance agent in the State of Oregon, NAIFA Oregon offers a scholarship to reimburse you for your professional development in the amount of 50% of the program costs of either NAIFA’s Leadership in Life Institute (LILI) or Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) program.

• ·         LUTCF Designation, often considered the first designation any insurance professional should earn - has delivered value to more than                 70,000 professionals since 1984. When you earn the LUTCF® designation, you receive so much more than a recognized designation. You           gain fundamental, yet critical prospecting, selling, and practice management skills, along with a thorough working knowledge of life and           multi-line products and services. https://tdc.naifa.org/lutcf

In following with NAIFA’s mission to advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, enhance business and professional skills, and promote the ethical conduct of our members, we are offering this professional development opportunity to further the knowledge and careers of current members while also attracting prospective members to our association.

Eligibility:

• ·         Available to any NAIFA Oregon member since 2020, or any new member with at least 2 years of financial services experience, and be a             NAIFA member in good standing,
• ·         Pay tuition, complete all course requirements as prescribed by LILI or LUTCF, and share status updates with NAIFA Oregon’s Association             Executive on a monthly basis,
• ·         Agree to volunteer and/or serve in a leadership position for a minimum of two years with NAIFA Oregon, during or after completion of             LILI or LUTF.

Award of Scholarship Funds:

• ·         For LILI students, NAIFA Oregon will reimburse the candidate 50% of the program cost upon receipt of Certificate of Graduation.
• ·         For LUTCF students, NAIFA Oregon will reimburse the candidate 50% upon receipt of successful completion of each of the 3 parts.
