Alex Cheng
Matt Payne Matt Payne is a seasoned sales enablement consultant and founder of Sales Boost Consulting. A certified Command of the Message methodology trainer, he has worked with top companies to transform their sales processes. Passionate about empowering professionals with the latest innovations, Matt now focuses on helping small businesses harness the power of AI to streamline workflows, enhance customer interactions, and close more deals. His workshops are known for being actionable, insightful, and tailored to the unique needs of his audience. John Powell Mr. Powell began his career as an intern for former U.S. Senator Gordon Smith. In 2004, he was appointed by President George W. Bush and served as a member of the White House staff until beginning graduate school. While in law school, Mr. Powell clerked for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources and the Marion County (OR) District Attorney’s Office. In 2009, Mr. Powell joined John Powell & Associates, a respected government relations firm his father founded in 1985. Currently, Mr. Powell owns and operates JP Advisors LLC (Government Relations), JP Law Firm LLC (Legal practice) and the forthcoming startup venture Will and Trust Vault LLC (estate planning document depository). Mr. Powell lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon with his wife Abby and their three children. |
Craig Westling
Craig Westling is a Senior Sales Executive with USAble Life in Portland. He has over 30 years of experience in employee benefits. Areas Craig has spent time in includes : Individual Disability, Qualified Retirement Plans, and Employee Group Benefits.
John Lenz
John entered the life insurance business in 1981 and has spent the last 45 years as a producer, General Agent and Managing General Agent. John’s company, Lenz Financial Group,was purchased by Simplicity Group in 2021.
John is a past member of the board of directors of the Oregon and SW Washington Financial Planning Association and past board chair of Insurance Designers of America, a national insurance marketing organization. John has been an expert witness in nearly 30 arbitrations, mediation, civil and criminal legal cases involving annuities and life insurance products.
Currently John spends most of his days deciding where to hike, hunt, fish, play pickleball, ski, fly, or travel to.
